Marvel's Stormbreakers Go Full Fall Vibes with "Fall Fantasies" Covers
Marvel's Stormbreakers program — the spotlight initiative for rising-star artists that's been running since 2020 as a successor to the old Young Guns banner — is leaning all the way into autumn this year with a "Fall Fantasies" variant theme: heroes carving pumpkins, picking apples, and playing pickup flag football.
This year's Stormbreakers class includes Alessandro Cappuccio, Netho Diaz, Simone Di Meo, Juan Frigeri, Gurihiru, Jonas Scharf, Geoff Shaw, and Luciano Vecchio, with eight covers rolling out across September:
- Sept 2: Fantastic Four #16
- Sept 9: Black Cat #14, Punisher #8, Wolverine #27
- Sept 16: Daredevil #7
- Sept 23: X-Men #38
- Sept 30: Gambit: Wanted #3, Uncanny X-Men #36
All eight are available for preorder through local comic shops. Stormbreakers covers have built a solid following as a way to catch artists early in their Marvel careers — worth a look if you like getting in before a name blows up.
