DC has confirmed what's next for the creative team behind its Teen Titans: Together line of YA graphic novels. Writer Kami Garcia and artist Gabriel Picolo, who are wrapping that series this fall, are following it up with Young Justice: Kid Flash and the Blue Beetle, according to DC's newly posted schedule for its New York Comic Con panels next month.

The reveal is attached to DC's "YA Phenomenon" panel, set for October 11 at NYCC, which the publisher is billing as a send-off for Teen Titans: Together before pivoting to the new book. Pairing Bart Allen and Jaime Reyes — two legacy-hero successors who've each carried their own corners of the DC Universe — suggests Garcia and Picolo are staying in the lane that made their Teen Titans run connect with younger readers: legacy characters, high-school-adjacent stakes, and art that doesn't talk down to the audience.
