Ignition Press Locks In Three Ultra-Limited Covers for Rose City Comic Con
Ignition Press is bringing show-exclusive covers to Rose City Comic Con in Portland on September 11, and each one is capped at just 500 copies — first come, first served at the creators' own booths.
The lineup: Prima Apparata #1 gets a Rebekah Isaacs cover, available at Isaacs's booth (D-03) or co-creator Olivia Dufault's (D-09); The Folk of Dooney Hollow #1 lands a Jae Lee cover at writer Jeremy Haun's table (D-10), timed right around the issue's September 9 shop release; and Cult-de-Sac #1 picks up an Inaki Miranda cover at writer Cullen Bunn's booth (D-04).
Ignition is also using the weekend to court retailers directly, sponsoring presentations at ComicsPro Retailer Day (September 10-11) and hosting a Drink N Draw with signed copies as prizes. With a 500-copy ceiling per cover and no reprints expected, these are the kind of small-press exclusives that tend to show up on the aftermarket fast once the show floor closes.
