DC Teams With Toei and Bandai for a Batman x Kamen Rider Zero-One Crossover Comic

DC Comics is teaming up with Toei, Bandai, and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products for a full crossover between Batman and Kamen Rider Zero-One, pairing the Dark Knight with the tokusatsu hero who kicked off the Reiwa era of the long-running Japanese franchise back in 2019. Writer Kenny Porter and artist Tokitokoro are attached to the project, which was announced during Batman Day 2026 and timed to line up with Kamen Rider's 55th anniversary.

The pitch leans on a parallel between the two heroes' civilian lives: Bruce Wayne runs Wayne Enterprises while Kamen Rider Zero-One's alter ego, Aruto Hiden, heads up the AI company Hiden Intelligence. DC and its partners haven't detailed exactly how the two worlds collide yet, but the corporate-executive-by-day setup on both sides suggests the story will find room for Wayne Enterprises and Hiden Intelligence tech to factor into the plot alongside the costumed action.

Bandai is already developing tie-in merchandise around the crossover, and DC has said more specifics — release date, issue count, story details — will roll out gradually in the months ahead. It's a notable expansion of Batman's ever-growing list of crossover partners, and one of the more unusual pairings DC has put its weight behind in recent memory.
