Alex Ross Returns for a 12-Title "Timeless" Variant Run in September

Painter Alex Ross is back with a new round of his popular Timeless variant cover series, spread across twelve Marvel titles rolling out in waves this month — September 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.

The lineup touches a wide swath of the Marvel line: Captain America, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, X-Men, Avengers: Armageddon, Jeff The Land Shark: Superstar, Marc Spector: Moon Knight, Uncanny X-Men, Spider-Man/Hulk: Fire and Brimstone, Thor, and X-Men United. Ross's painted covers spotlight a deep bench of characters, including Hercules, Hellcat, Crystal, and Moondragon.

Each title gets two versions — a standard release and a sketch variant — with "virgin" (text-free) editions also available for collectors who want the art without cover copy.
