2000 AD Teams With Konami for an Official Silent Hill: Townfall Comic Prequel
2000 AD and Konami have announced "Silent Hill: Townfall — The Dock House," an official comic prequel tied to the upcoming horror game Silent Hill: Townfall. The story debuts in 2000 AD's landmark Prog 2500 — out September 16 in the UK and September 30 in the US — just ahead of the game's own launch on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store on September 24.
The comic is written and directed by Jon McKellan, with art from David Roach, a longtime 2000 AD artist best known to readers for his work on Nemesis the Warlock. The story follows Douglas, a veteran harbour master trapped in the fog-choked town of St. Amelia, who stumbles onto an impossible staircase descending beneath the harbor — and the secrets waiting at the bottom of it.
It's a fitting pairing: Townfall is set on a fictional Scottish island, and 2000 AD has been one of the UK's defining genre-comics publishers for decades. The Dock House will be available in shops through Lunar and Diamond UK distribution, as well as digitally through the 2000 AD webstore and app, giving Silent Hill fans a taste of the game's dread before it even hits shelves.
